Corporate Headquarters - Basking Ridge, New Jersey
Verizon purchased a new corporate campus in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, complete with a two million square foot main building. Logistics was hired to assist the Global Strategic Resourcing team to resource, budget and specify the furniture
that would accommodate their needs.
The demands of the various users groups required a flexible workstation that could have a consistent foot print and layout, yet respond to unique user requirements. Further, the deign firm intended to use the spine panel color as a way finding tool, which required some level of customization.
Logistics recommended a frame and tile approach to the work station that would maximize customization and minimize the kit of parts. The basic frame structure is the same for each user; however it can be applied with different tiles to and colored panels to accommodate special needs and directional cues. Further, any of these items can be easily changed as various groups grow or contract. After a competitive bid and mock-up process, Knoll was the selected manufacturer.

Fortress Investment Group, a relatively new hedge fund group, embarked on establishing their first, main corporate headquarters. Their goal was to maintain a consistent look and feel to each of their offices and hired Logistics to assist in the furniture selection. The goals were to specify furniture from manufacturers that could support their needs on a global basis.
Our approach was to understand where Fortress anticipated its major markets to be and then seek manufacturers with a presence there. In addition, the design called for a unique use of materials, so the manufacturer had to have enough depth to accommodate it.
Ultimately, a list of qualified vendors was agreed upon and Herman Miller was selected after the Logistics due diligence was completed. Fortress selected their seating, files and work stations as well as wood case goods, which have been specified all over the globe.

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, a well established financial investment firm, houses their offices in a prestigious Park Avenue building in New York. Logistics has helped them select and purchase furnishings that maintain their image over the past fourteen years.
Their business needs have changed, although the size of their facility has not. Furniture has played an important role in that it has facilitated these changes while working within the same space. Working with custom furniture vendors and various design firms through the years, Logistics has ensured continuity in design and quality of the furnishings.
